The week in pictures

A good week here means lots of good pictures.

Playing ball with Nana

Don't you wish you could be running around outside like a bee or princess fairy?

Building houses for as many stuffed animals as possible.

Catching up on Sofia the First.

Summery and fancy. She wore all those bracelets and necklaces for 3 days straight.

In mid-air...super happy about the splash pad.

Helping in the garden.

Parker's first veggie of the year...a radish. From the look, don't think he's too sure about it.

Our bowl of radishes.

Water table time. Seriously the best summer toy we've gotten. This is out third summer playing with it.

Sprinkler on, playing in the water.

Another party at my work...Car show!

Lunch outside at the car show

Cookie love.

Waiting for the parade to start at Bennington Daze.

More coming soon...Parker's bad dentist trip with preemie teeth (ugh!), our new garden, and super crazy twins!

Spring in Pictures

This has been the first full week that it really felt like spring (and even summer one day it reached over 100 degrees!). I've been taking lots of pictures lately, so not much writing this time, just pictures.

Workin' on the tomatos

Lilacs just barely in time for Mother's Day

April showers...

They turned the fountain on!

Happy Mother's Day to me :)

Gardening 101

I've started prepping my garden area for this year's veggies and decided that it was time to get the dynamic duo in on the action a little bit. They spent the past two weeks at respite care doing things about weather and the outdoors and plants. I decided to keep it going. I went to Home Depot and got them their own pots (plastic that they can't break) and some seeds to plant. Hopefully in a few weeks, they'll have some flowers to show for their help. I was worried that Parker might not go for it because he sometimes has problems getting dirty, but he did really well. They had to check their pots several times after planting to see if their flowers were there yet. They haven't quite gotten the whole "you have to plant them and take care of them and then you'll get flowers later" thing down yet.

We topped off our planting with a little bubble blowing.

We'll keep you updated on the flowers. And hopefully our shot at getting our veggies in the ground in the next week!
