Shake It Off

Because it's a few weeks until Christmas, cold outside, full of doctor's appointments, bloodwork, medical supplies....and I could go on. Basically life is busy right now. There's lots of stuff coming up. Things are going to get a little crazier while we get through the holidays...and you need to take a break and laugh. Because I did. I've watched this repeatedly and I can't stop giggling. So trust me, this is 4 minutes very well spent.

Taylor Swift....Payton's giving you a run for your money.

Shake It Off - Payton Style

Coming soon - Christmas parties, appointments, and some updates.

Move over Beyonce

When Payton was a baby at home, I used to play this song and have her do a little dance to it, which Aunt Bo thought was hysterical -

They have seen the Chipmunks sing it and think it's funny. Then last weekend we heard it on the radio in the car, which they made me turn up loud so they could sing and dance.

Payton has been singing her own version for the past 2 days. (In case you can't tell what she's saying it is "I'm a single lady, I'm a single lady. Ahh ahh ahhh, ah ah ahhhh ahhhh"). Giggles!

Silver Lining

Things have been heavy on my mind lately. Lots to do, not enough time. Spring can't come fast enough. And then during a moment on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the park, when I thought the fresh air and sunshine were enough to help, I caught my silver lining...

A Diva is Born

Payton loves music. She loves everything having to do with music. She loves watching The Voice, Dancing With the Stars, she stops to look at a commercial with music, she could watch the Hot Wings video on the Rio DVD a million times and be perfectly happy. She is also becoming the worlds biggest diva (or ham as I like to call her).

Payton has been practicing some of her songs with Ma-Maw, Mommy and at school. She actually let me film her if I promised to let her watch them. There's counting, Twinkle Twinkle, This Little Piggy (the Payton version) and Johnny. I'm going to need more camera time for her for sure!

Ringing in the holidays...

...with ringworm. Yep. Ringworm. What started as a small mark that I thought meant she bumped her face, turned into a spot she was digging at by Sunday afternon. So after lunch, Payton and I treked off to pedicatric express care and got an official verdict. OTC creams are too harsh for her little cheeks so we got a script and were out of there pretty fast. I'm not exactly sure where she got it. It's only on her face. Parker doesn't have it at all (fingers crossed). So, if you'll be seeing us in the next few days we're safe, I just wouldn't let her rub her face on you.

And we did a little more celebrating over the weekend...
Parker and Daddy got out their drills and compared. Boys and their toys.

Ma-Maw and I took them to the tabernacle to see al the gingerbreadhouses. There are over 100 of them in there of all kinds, trees lit up, a scavenger hunt among the display. They were truly neat to see. The babies were quite curious as to why they saw M&Ms on things but they couldn't touch of have them.

And Sunday night we went to Honor's house to have the last of our Christmas parties. The babies got to see their friend Faith, we got to eat, play and share presents. We always love seeing everyone. Thanks Honor for hosting!

5 days till Christmas...the countdown is on!
