The latest poop

Respite care has started giving the twins a chance to try sitting on the potty when it's time for diaper changes. And Payton has started to recognize when it's time "to go" and she's been telling them there. So I hadn't really planned on doing this so soon (I mean, they're not even really technically 2 for another two months) but I broke down and bought two potties. Frog potties. The first night we had them they wouldn't stay off of them. They drug them into the kitchen, in the hallway, everywhere. Payton isn't using it everytime she needs to "go" but she's telling us when sometimes and most the time getting a sticker because she went. Parker really doesn't care and would rather throw a ball around. We're in no hurry. We'll get there.

Parker's procedure went well. Things with blood work and biopsies didn't exactly match so last week in the heat of our illnesses I had to take him in to have more bloodwork. We're hoping to have the resutls back this week sometime. It's a weird thing...wanting answers and being happy someone is listening, and maybe not wanting to know the answers.
Aunt Bo brought us back hats from her trip with Uncle Dave. Do you know of any little man cuter running around in a authentic Harvard ballcap?

We're on the mend from our last round of illnesses. Just in time for Turkey Day! We are so ready for our first real Thanksgiving dinner ever. Don't worry - we'll be taking lots of pictures!

Have a good week!
